AISI 440-C stainless steel balls are not magnetic and offer the advantage of higher through hardness than other stainless steel ball materials., as well as a considerable resistance to corrosion against water, steam, oil, gasoline (petrol) and alcohol.
All stainless steeel balls are passivated.
The high hardness, grade of surface finish, and extremely accurate tolerances ensure that 440-C stainless steel balls are suitable for stainless steel precision ball bearings, oil refinery valves, ball-point pens and other rigid environmental applications.
